Back-to-School Traffic Reminder

As the school year begins on Friday, please keep the following safety tips in mind:

  1. Watch for Kids: Always be vigilant and keep an eye out for children walking or biking to school.
  2. Avoid McCracken Entrance: Please avoid using the McCracken entrance during drop-off and pick-up times, which are from 7 AM to 9 AM and 2:15 PM to 4 PM.
  3. Parking Regulations:
    – Do not park in yellow sections.
    – Ensure you are at least 15 feet away from stop signs.
  4. Sidewalk Safety:
    – No motorized vehicles are allowed on the sidewalks. This includes parking vehicles on/across the sidewalk.
  5. Walking Guidelines:
    – When walking on streets without sidewalks, always walk facing traffic and stay to the side.
    – Avoid walking in the middle of the street or occupying both sides.
