With only 1.5 month before the Census surveying closes, The Town is asking all community leaders to help encourage everyone to fill out the U.S. Census.
The deadline is NOW September 30.
It is estimated that each response is equal to $3,000 worth of federal funds. If 100 people don’t fill out the Census, that’s $3 million dollars throughout the next decade which is blowing in the wind — Money which can be used for Bluffton’s parks, parking lots, sewer infrastructure, sidewalks, playground equipment, healthcare, roads and social service programs.
It is the law that all information obtained through the Census, is NOT allowed to be shared with any other organization, agency or person.
